Hi there.. it’s Haylee! Here’s something that’s been weighing on my heart for a while & I wanted to write to you all. From one mama to another, isn’t it true that we lose sight
of ourselves in the mix taking care of our families?! You’ve been there too,
right?

Sometimes we neglect our self-care and forget that we still
have an identity outside being a mom. Behind all the diapers, sweat, food and
yoga pants, there is an amazing woman worthy of love from others, but more
importantly…. from herself.

I’ve been on both sides of Boudoir! I’ve done a session PLUS now I work with BXB as the Studio Manager!

Here’s my top 5 reasons why us mamas NEED to do a Boudoir Session!

1. Self-care is a NECESSITY, not a luxury and something we tend to put on the back
burner – To give the best to our families, we need to give to ourselves. We
need to take the time to enjoy an experience and be reminded of how amazing we
are.

2. Your body is PERFECT exactly how it is – Don’t say you will do it when you lose __lbs.
We’ve all heard that our stretchmarks are beautiful, and that our bodies created
human beings… But we don’t believe it.

3. Spend some of your hard-earned money on YOURSELF, mama – like for real. How many
little toys or treats have you bought for your kids in the last year? How many
times have you put something back on the shelf that you wanted for yourself? Our
kiddos will not suffer if they don’t get a toy or a treat every time you go to
the store.

4. Taking care of yourself plays an important part of showing your children how important it
is to take care of yourself and your mental – In a world where mental health is
such a touchy, hush hush topic, we need to set the example for our children of
taking time for ourselves. Do things that make us happy and love ourselves
endlessly.

5. You ARE making the world a better place – Each woman that loves themselves more, has
more love to give to others, it’s a proven fact.

Deciding to take the leap is terrifying and may push you
outside of your comfort zone, but honestly that is why you’re here. I promise
you, that being uncomfortable will cause growth. Start your journey of
self-love, and celebrate the total babe that you are!

Q: Think deeply for these questions… Why did you choose to do a Boudoir Session?

A: I was in a very dark mindset when I scheduled it. And you gave me a good deal when I won top contributor one month last year- it was actually about a year ago today. And so I took the opportunity. Hoping it would help. And looking back, it really did.

Q: What were your thoughts before booking the Boudoir by Billie Experience?

A: One word. Hopeful

Q: How did you feel BEFORE your session V.S. how you felt DURING / AFTER the Experience?

A: Before: SO nervous, but ready. I knew I was going to get medicated before/during/after. And it was my birthday. I was content spending it with you both & my babygirl. After: like a bad bitch 😂 forreal though. I made a TikTok & was pretty happy with it. I felt so pretty and exactly what I was hoping. Plus some. So thank you, it meant more than you’ll know

Q: How did you feel when you saw your photographs for the very first time?

A: Shocked. I couldn’t believe that was me. And the smoke ones are so hot 😍 you are wonderful.

Q: What was your favorite part about the whole EXPERIENCE?

A: Being pampered, and literally being able to use the one man that always hits the spot. (My bubbler is named “Mr.B”) But, it was seeing myself differently. It was surreal. And it was great seeing Zachs response 😆

Q: Did a boudoir session with Billie change the way you see yourself?

A: YES MA’AM👏🏻

Q: What do you say to anyone thinking about booking a session?

A: Do it. I promise- and I take those seriously- that you will not regret it. It’s a magical experience. Just say yes to yourself, beautiful. Cause you’re amazing.

I know sometimes the boudoir industry leans heavily into doing sessions as wedding gifts, anniversary presents, etc. “Do it for him”, “For his eyes only”, and all that jazz. But what about those of us that are in a season of life where celebrating ourselves is the focus? 

The question at hand: Are boudoir sessions still for you - even without a partner? 

Short answer- Hell yes. 

Long answer- Here’s the deal. We live in a world that places a LOT of a woman’s value on her relationship status. Which I think is some BS. Who says we need another person to be happy? Some of the most badass women I know have created empires without a ring on their finger. So at the very least, single ladies can and SHOULD do something just for themselves. Getting to look hot and stick it to the patriarchy at the same time–yasssssss, I’m here for it.  

Let me just scream this as loud as possible : your Boudoir Experience should be about YOU!

We all need to feel good about ourselves. A partner thinking we’re hot is awesome. You thinking you’re the hottest babe around? Game changer. There’s something seriously powerful about a woman taking charge of her own confidence and doing a session for her damn self. Getting hair and makeup and dressing up in stunning lingerie. Getting hyped up by the studio team. Seeing those images for the first time. Getting an album to look at to remind herself that she’s a strong, confident, badass woman. Who of us doesn’t need a day of pampering plus a constant reminder of how hot we are in our bodies RIGHT NOW?! 

I want everyone to experience a boudoir session for themselves. Think of someone else getting to see them as a sweet little bonus. Everything else is all about you and how gorgeous you are. 

So…. Single babes. Going through a divorce babes. Doing their own thing babes. I want to see YOUR beautiful faces in the studio this year. You deserve to feel incredible for yourself. Let’s make it happen. This is your time to shine and our team is HERE for you in all the ways!
