Q: Why did you choose to do a Boudoir Session?
A: I chose to do a session with Billie because I had seen all of her amazing work and I knew I wanted to see myself how I saw all of her other clients - beautiful and confident.

Q: What were your thoughts before booking the Boudoir by Billie Experience?
A: I was really excited more than anything. I knew I wanted boudoir pictures of myself for years but it seemed like it was just a dream. I didn’t think my body was anywhere near ready to be photographed so I honestly wasn’t really planning on doing them when I did.

Q: How did you feel BEFORE your session V.S. how you felt DURING / AFTER the Experience?
A: Before my session I was READY until the morning of my shoot.. I got so nervous. I was worried about how my outfit would look, how my hair and make up would look, if my panties I brought were going to be too tight and unflattering, if I would be able to pose like she needed me to. During and after my session I felt like a DAMN QUEEN. My hair and make up we’re perfect. She made me so comfortable while she was shooting. She showed me how to pose, fixed my hair and outfits so they were flattering in every picture, posed me in ways that made my body look it’s best. She showed me the back of the camera after a few shots and I was like, THAT’S ME, I look like that! We laughed and joked and I felt like I was with one of my best friends. I was so relaxed and I felt so beautiful.

Q: How did you feel when you saw your photographs for the very first time?
A: I was amazed. I was looking at the pictures in complete shock like holy shit, that’s really me.

Q: What was your favorite part about the whole EXPERIENCE?
A: My favorite part of my experience was honestly just how I felt. I was relaxed and comfortable - even half naked walking around the studio I’m front of this lady I had just met. Billie is such an empowering woman and kept telling me how great I looked and how good my pictures were going to be the entire time.

Q: Did a boudoir session with Billie change the way you see yourself?

A: Absolutely. Starting before I even left the studio. I felt like a goddess when I left and after seeing my pictures and seeing what I really look like when I’m not being critical of myself was the best feeling ever.

Q: What do you say to anyone thinking about booking a session?
A: DO IT. You will not regret it for a single second. Everyone needs to see what they look like on the other side of Billie’s lens.

Q: How did you feel BEFORE your session V.S. how you felt DURING / AFTER the Experience?
A: I was scared and doubting myself before hand but from the very beginning of the experience, the Boudoir by Billie team was so supportive and reassuring. I forgot about my nerves and relaxed into it. I laughed and enjoyed myself, as if I wasn’t almost naked getting photographed by a stranger. And by the time my session was over and I left, I felt like a bad ass bitch ready to take on the world!

Q: How did you feel when you saw your photographs for the very first time?
A: I felt shocked. Shocked that it was me I was looking at. I’ve done two shoots and both times my emotions were negative at the start and positive at the end but that thought was still there like “what if I hate these photos and this was all for nothing” and then the reveal happens and I’m reminded that I am beautiful. I’m plus sized and I have stretch marks and cellulite and a big belly but I am sexy and perfect the way I am. I’m reminded, when looking at these photos, that my brain plays tricks and is mean to me and I really don’t look like I just crawled out from under a bridge. The reveal is everything and always makes me feel amazing!

Q: What was your favorite part about the whole EXPERIENCE?
A: My favorite part is the feelings that doing these shoots leave you with. I feel love for Billie because she’s so supportive and encouraging. And I feel an overwhelming sense of confidence after it’s all said and done. I feel empowered and sexy and those are great feelings to carry around with me.

Q: Did a boudoir session with Billie change the way you see yourself?
A: Yes. My sessions helped me see myself for how I really look rather than how my brain and body dysmorphia wanna make me think I look. It helped the logical part of my brain take a step back and see the beauty of this body.

Q: What do you say to anyone thinking about booking a session?
A: I know it’s scary and I know you’ll be hesitant but just take the plunge and go for it. Its gonna be crazy the whole ride through but once you’re done, you’re gonna feel a love for yourself that is so pure and deserved. Everyone should do it.

Q: Why did you choose to do a Boudoir Session?
A: I’m a newlywed and a new mother all in the same year. I wanted a gift for my husband that would show that mamas still got it. ;)

Q: What were your thoughts before booking the Boudoir by Billie Experience?
A: I’ve had a previous session from a model call so I was obviously stoked! Billie is an amazing photographer and human being so I knew I was in for a fun time.

Q: How did you feel BEFORE your session V.S. how you felt DURING / AFTER the Experience?
A: Before I was super excited. During I was so comfortable and relaxed because Billie made all the posing super easy and I didn’t even have to think about what I needed to do. After I felt like a straight up fox because my hair and makeup we’re on point and that immediate confidence boost was fantastic!

Q: How did you feel when you saw your photographs for the very first time?
A: I was so proud of my body. Birthing a little one is no small feat so to come out on the other end of it looking the way I did in those photos makes me feel like wonder woman.

Q: What was your favorite part about the whole EXPERIENCE?
A: I love that Billie gives direction so confidently. She makes it feel effortless and her confidence definitely rubs off on you.

Q: Did a boudoir session with Billie change the way you see yourself?
A: It definitely boosted my confidence. After having a baby, it’s hard to feel like yourself especially that sexy self that doesn’t get to come out as often when you’re a mom. It made me feel like even though I’m a mom, I’m a hot mom.

Q: What do you say to anyone thinking about booking a session?
A: Absolutely do it! Don’t think twice! Don’t second guess yourself. You are worth it and you will love it.
