Q: Why did you choose to do a Boudoir Session?
A: There is nothing more empowering and uplifting than stripping down and being comfortable in you own skin….and with the confidence that the person behind the camera knows exactly how to emphasize your assets. Billie is a master of light and it is evident in her work.
Q: What were your thoughts before booking the Boudoir by Billie Experience?
A: It’s always a little nerve wracking to think about being basically naked in front of a camera, but I’ve known Billie for a lot of years and have no doubt that she will make magic out of my body. THAT is a gift!
Q: How did you feel BEFORE your session V.S. how you felt DURING / AFTER the Experience?
A: It’s always intimidating at first, but Billie makes you feel so comfortable and like the absolute queen you are.
Q: How did you feel when you saw your photographs for the very first time?
A: Thankful. As a photographer myself, I know exactly how unflattering a photo CAN be. Rest assured, you won’t get those photos from Billie. You look at them and think ”DAMN! I look GOOD!”
Q: What was your favorite part about the whole EXPERIENCE?
A: Confidence. Plain and simple. A few looks at the back of the camera after an awkward pose and you’re just like “yes! I will do whatever you tell me to because that shit is BOMB!”
Q: Did a boudoir session with Billie change the way you see yourself?
A: Absolutely. It’s been a few years. The end of a marriage, the beginning of a new relationship, a couple career changes since I last worked with Billie. Since covid I’ve quit going to the gym and things jiggle that haven’t jiggled before…..I knew better than to wait until I got back into shape. I knew that this session would help me love my body where it is at this point in time! It’s been through some shit in the last few years and I wear those pounds with pride now. Billie did that.
Q: What do you say to anyone thinking about booking a session?
A: Just do it. Don’t wait until you lose 20 pounds. Love yourself now. You’re worth it!
