I didn’t grow up feeling confident in my skin.
I grew up wanting to be accepted.
I was bullied when I was younger, and for a long time I believed that if I could just change enough, shrink enough, try hard enough, I’d finally be worthy of being seen.
Of belonging. Of taking up space.
Somewhere along the way, that longing turned into a dream.
A dream of creating a place where women didn’t have to earn their worth.
Where they didn’t have to be polished, perfect, or performative to be celebrated.
Boudoir became that place.
Not because it’s about being sexy, but because it’s about being safe.
Safe to exist. Safe to be imperfect.
Safe to be fully yourself without apology.
This work is my way of building the community I needed back then.
A space where you’re reminded that you were never broken.
You were always enough. Perfectly imperfect. Exactly as you are.
I have become passionate about keeping and building this space here in Columbia, Missouri.
Somewhere that as women we can reclaim ourselves and our confidence through Boudoir sessions together.
Even if you are nervous - I PROMISE that you can do this. Everyone is nervous. They just finally come to terms with the fact that they DESERVE this experience and do it.
Do it scared.
Do it nervous.
